Anonymous asked: A recent meme of yours said something along the lines of ''English teacher tells you that you need to be a professional writer. Weep.'' None of my English teachers have ever said my writing's were extraordinary - not that they read much of it. Is it some sort of requirement to have a certain level of approval before you try and become a professional writer?
Tazzy: No.
No.
Absolutely not.
You don’t need someone else’s approval to try and do something you love. If you want to try to be a professional writer, do it! Who cares what other people think? I’ve had people think me odd for writing- do I care? Nope. I do it anyway.
C’mon, anon, do you really think you need the approval of someone to do anything? It’s like asking if it’s a requirement to have someone approve of your clothing before you get dressed each morning. Don’t be silly! :)
