Anonymous asked: I am stuck on multiple ideas for stories and I can't decide! I'll start working on one and then I decide I want to do the other and I never get one finished. Help?

Divi: Unfortunately I know that feeling well. You’re going to have to decide on one and postpone the others for just a little while. I came to this conclusion when I did NaNoWriMo for the first time this year, and while I’ve never been able to focus on one story before, I actually did manage to and got a lot more out of it than I ever did trying to switch between stories. If you keep trying to switch between them you’ll end up taking years just to finish one, or not at all. If you focus on one but get ideas for another while you’re writing, just type or write it down somewhere so you won’t forget and then continue with the story you’re working on. Trust me, it will pay off in the end. I’m sure there are many people who can successfully switch between stories and finish them, but others just get them finished one at a time because it works better for them.
